What is Mimring?+
Mimring is a family memory-preservation service. Family Members respond to prompts with stories, photographs, and memories that can later be organized into a Memory Book.
What is a Family Admin?+
A Family Admin organizes the Mimring Family. They can invite Family Members, choose and create prompts, manage Prompt Packs, follow progress, and create Memory Books.
What is a Family Member?+
A Family Member is the person preserving their memories. They use their own Family Member Account to respond to assigned prompts and build their Memory Book at their own pace.
Does Mimring require a subscription?+
No recurring Mimring subscription is required. Family Member Accounts are $25 each as a one-time purchase.
Do prompts have to be answered in order?+
No. Family Members can choose the prompts that interest them and return to unfinished or completed memories later.
Can photographs be included?+
Yes. Memories can include uploaded photographs and captions alongside written stories.
Can a Memory Book change later?+
Yes. Mimring is designed as a living collection. Memories and book organization can continue to change as more stories are added.
Can I order a printed Memory Book?+
Yes. Turn your Memory Book into a printed keepsake through Mimring's Print Shop, available from Manage book. Make the design your own and order copies for your family whenever you are ready. Printed books and shipping cost extra, and you will see the full total before checkout. You can also download a PDF to arrange your own printing.
Can I export my Memory Book?+
Mimring supports downloadable Memory Book formats including PDF, Word, EPUB, and LaTeX so families can archive, print, read, or continue working with their stories elsewhere. Exports have no watermarks, and you can download a new version as your book changes.
